The Invite
The movie centers on Joe and Angela, a couple married for 15 years whose relationship has devolved into constant bickering and emotional distance. Angela, hoping to inject some social energy into their stale routine, invites their upstairs neighbors, Hawk and Pina, over for a dinner party. Joe is instantly resentful of the invite, primarily because Hawk and Pina are notoriously loud during sex, a frequent source of frustration and sleepless nights for Joe and Angela.
